Plasmolen is a small town in the north of Limburg, surrounded by beautiful and diverse surroundings. It is situated on the banks of the Meuse. The village is surrounded by beautiful natural areas, including the German Reichswald, De Sint Jansberg and the Mookerheide. The village has a rich history and a Roman past that can still be seen in the landscape and some archaeological finds. This makes Plasmolen a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

In the centre of the village you will find several cosy restaurants and cafés where you can have a bite to eat and a drink. For the necessary relaxation, you can visit the bowling alley, the Escape Room or the mini golf course. For hot days of the year, there are beaches at Mookerplas where you can sunbathe and swim. There is also a marina and boat hire, so you can discover Mookerplas and its surroundings from the water.
